Vespa PX series was widely popular not just in India but across the whole world. The iconic design and title were so dominant that people used to refer all the scooters by the term Vespa. Piaggio has been successful so far in the marketing of these vehicles. As the PX series couldn’t exist anymore due to the modern emission laws, the company had come up with this new LX series. The design is slightly revamped with a modern look and an upgraded four-stroke engine. Even though it’s an upgrade, the classic Vespa touch still remains.
Hero Pleasure Standard Scooty Specifications
Engine displacement on the Piaggio Vespa LX 125 is 125 cc – just goes with the title. It does what it does – pushing the ride forward. The improvements over the previous PX generation are – obviously, lesser carbon emission and quiet driving experience. Also, the fuel economy is remarkable; only a 7 liter fuel tank is good enough to ride this scooter for a pretty long time. 100 km/h is the top speed on the engine, but acceleration is faster with 9.76 bhp at 7500 rpm and 10.6 Nm torque at 6000 rpm. Driving straight out of traffic congestion and potholes wouldn’t really be an issue.

Instead of modern disk brake technology, both wheels rely on drum brake technology. For a 114 kg kerb weight vehicle and a limited top speed, drum brakes would just be as effective as disk brakes on faster motorbikes. Continuous variable transmission is comparatively easier to drive once the driver learns the techniques. The meters and gauges are all analogues, intentionally done to keep the classical Vespa feel alive.
Vespa LX 125 design remains similar to the old classic issue – only the elements are now modern.
Ex-Showroom Price: Piaggio Vespa LX 125 costs Rs. 67,425.
